Blackjack Etiquette Rules
Blackjack is just like any other human activity: it has certain etiquette and rituals related to it.
If you want to be a spectator, that's fine, but watch from a reasonable distance and don't interfere with the players' ability to concentrate.
If you don't know the rules, play at a table with no other players if you can find one, and learn by yourself. It's important not to hold up the game for any reason.
Tip the dealer from time to time, especially if you're winning. One "cool" way to tip the dealer is by placing a bet on his behalf. To do this, just place an additional bet outside your betting circle, in the dealer's direction.
If the cards are dealt face up, don't touch them. You're only allowed to touch the cards if you're playing in a face-down game.
Don't drink at the table unless you can avoid spilling it. Don't get drunk or order drinks while people are waiting for you to play, either.
Don't talk excessively. Most people are there to play, not chat. Especially don't tell other players how to play or correct their mistakes. Don’t bother the dealer or other players with questions.
There is a set of Blackjack signals which can let the dealer know about your game intentions. The only weak point is that these signals are different for face up and face down games.
Face Up Game
Pointing at your cards means that you want to hit. If you want to stand wave your hand over the cards parallel to the table. If you want to double or to split you have to place a 2nd bet next to the original bet. Never place the bet on the original one if you want to split or to double.
Face Down Game
If you want to hit just scrape the table with your hand, but try to do it as light as possible. Placing cards under the bet means that you need no more cards and want to stand. If you want to double or to split you have to turn your cards face up and place one more bet next to our original bet.

Never Use These Blackjack Strategies
If you really want to win at the game of Blackjack never use the following strategies.
Playing as the dealer does
Lots of players think that they will get the same advantage as the house if they play as the dealer does. They forget that the dealer is forced by casino rules to stand on 17, and is not allowed to double or split. And the player's 21 will never beat the dealer's natural Blackjack.
Assuming a 10 value hole-card
This is a tempting mistake to make, since there are several 10 valued cards in the deck (10's, Jacks, Queens and Kings). In fact the statistical chance of the Hole card being a 10 valued one is below 50%. So you would be wrong in assuming the dealer's Hole card to be a 10 or a ten valued one.
"The No Bust Strategy"
Even is this strategy may seem attractive, you should know that it is defective and we will explain you why. The objective of the strategy is not to go bust. So you stand no matter whether you have chances of going bust or not. Usually though it means never hitting with a hard 12 or greater. Go the "no bust strategy" route means that your only hope is for the dealer to bust - basically wishing on a star and not making meaningful decisions that the mathematical odds say will quite likely help you to win.
Playing by intuition or guesswork
As we already said, Blackjack is a game of skill, not pure luck. Thet’s why it is not wise to follow only your intuition while playing the game of Blackjack. You can apply this strategy to some lottery or a game of a pure chance, but never to the game of Blackjack. Choosing this way of playing you will make for sure the casino owners smile because ultimately you'll be fattening their pockets. The Blackjack table is in the shape of a semi-circle, usually with padded edges and space for five up to seven seated players to lean on as they play. Some tables actually seat only five or six players. The dealer stands in the middle of the flat edge, opposite the players. In front of him you'll see the chip rack, which is a tray of chips differently colored, and each color represent a particular dollar value or denomination. In front of the dealer is also a spot for him to place his cards. There is a spot for each player on the table, here they can lay down their bets. In front of each player there is a white box. In this box the dealer puts cards for the players. On the table felt are written some specific rules that let you know how well Blackjack pays, what rate for insurance that table has and also you can find out the dealers rules for hitting or standing at that respective table. Another thing to count for when playing Blackjack in a casino is to look for what type of Blackjack is played at the table you choose. In most of the casinos a multi-deck game is played, usually called shoe game (normally containing 4,6 or 8 decks of cards), because the cards are dealt from a rectangular wedge-shaped holder called 'shoe'. If you lucky you nay find a casino in which the game is played with two or even one deck. Make sure you understand the game before you begin playing. It means that you should know the rules of the game in this very casino, betting limits and the number of decks used in the game.
